Ouch!

No pictures this time but wanted to update you all. Jack had his 6month check up on Monday... I can't believe he is 6months old already! What a big boy! He now weights 17lbs 8oz and is over 26" long- 50th percentile on all his measurements. He got another round of shots along with his first flu shot. He was slightly dramatic with his shots but quickly recovered. He was his same old smiling self in no time! He enjoyed visiting his Nana at work, too!

He is almost sitting up by himself but still occasionally throws himself backwards- so I don't go far! Still not rolling over though. He rolled onto his belly one time back in September but I think that might have been an accident! He has never liked his belly so I don't even think he has any desire to roll. He is giggling more and more now- the big belly laughs- and I love it! He is definitely making the transition from baby to toddler!

He also gets three meals a day of big boy food, and he can't get enough of it! He is looking forward to his first Thanksgiving meal- yummy sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes and turkey! We are planning on participating in the Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving morning- Jackson too! So, that should be a fun, busy day. We'll definitely post pictures as they come.
